Other Characters

Dennis Finch (just call him Finch, because everyone else but Jack does) is Jack's right hand man. He is also cute, short, power-hungry, sarcastic, obsequious, and somewhat obnoxious. Along with Jack and Elliott, Finch perpetually chases women, more specifically the models that come to Blush, with results that are less than spectacular. A 5'7" man going after women all taller than 5'9"?? My heart goes out to the poor guy, I must say, even though I'm female. Well, even though Finch obviously likes women, people think he's gay!! I don't get that!! Someone please give me one reason why a lot of people on the show think he's gay!! And if any of you say "he looks like Ellen", prepare to be hit on the head with a frying pan!! Yeah, I admit it, Finch is my favorite character on the show, but that isn't saying much, since I love all the characters. He's just a bit higher up there. Oh well. Enough babbling. That's Finch.

Finch seems to like Maya a lot as a person,
and as a friend. He loves to tease her (though
he loves to tease everyone, really), and I 
sometimes think he might just have a crush
on her, but no matter how much Finch may tease 
or make rude quips to Maya, I think he really 
respects her.

Finch just kisses up to Jack. One of those
employee-boss kinda things. Finch wants power,
Jack's the key to it. But Finch will be
brash and off-color around Jack, just like
he is with everyone else when he wants to.

Elliott and Finch seem to have a common
thing going: they both chase women. Elliott
just happens to have more luck in that area
than Finch.

I really think Finch and Nina have a neat
relationship. Their routine exchange of quips
and insults is very cool to watch, and is 
definately a highlight of the show...but is 
there more there than just a simple office
relationship? I'm not suggesting attraction,
though that's possible. It just seems that
Finch and Nina seem to...oh, what's a good
word? I guess they really seem to care for
each other more than anyone else, no matter
wether that caring is friendly or love-oriented.
I don't know. I just think it's there, and I'd
love to talk to anyone else who thinks it's
there, too.
